Poor response to service delivery

Greetings,

Our home phone and internet line has been down since the 26th of January 2014. My husband and I have called Telkom numerous times to have the problem attended to, but we have yet to have the problem sorted a week later.

It has been 7 days and we still have no land line or internet service. The amount of money I have lost contacting Telkom daily has also been an upsetting matter to say the least. My daughter that is busy with her Master's degree, as I have explained to them, is also dependent on the internet for her studies and has a paper due. I have spoken to the call centre and explained to them over and over but no one seems to understand or wants to assist. I have had three fault messages sent to me "Dear Customer, thank you for requesting fault progress online. There is still an open fault out on your line." Yet nothing is being done.

They told me that the problem would be fixed by Thursday, 30 January 2014, however that is yet to happen seeing that it is Sunday and I am still sitting with the problem.

This is unacceptable service
