Still paying for contract that have been cancelled

I moved to the UK in January 2012 I payed my 2 contracts every month on time although I couldn't use it without it costing me a fortune, October 2012 I`ve send vodacom an email requiting my contracts being stopped as it is about to end, so the asked me if I want to remove the numbers from the system or convert them to prepaid and I told them convert it back to prepaid, they told me that my numbers would be prepaid end of December witch is fair cause that is when my contracts end. I looked at my bank statement January 2013 and see vodacom has deducted the amount of both contract and send them another email to find out is going on where the told me it was for December okey I accepted that but then again another deduction beginning February so i send them an email once again to find out what this is about this time so the told me that i have an active contract with them then I told the person on the other end that it is not my problem if they make mistakes i have emails proving that i have cancelled my contracts and that I want my money back now they come up with this that I have to pay another 2 months because i have to give one months notice to cancel my contract.
