I've been trying since Tuesday to complete an upgrade on my data contract (ipad) that expired on Monday. I wanted to get a iPhone 5c anytime package. Tuesday morning I spoke to Brenda who said that my data contract needed to be migrated to a voice contract and that she would get Christopher to phone me back. During the day no-one phoned me back even though I phoned about 2 or 3 times and was assured every time that someone would phone me back with some info.
The next day I phoned AGAIN and was told that the migration was in process and that it takes 3-5 working days and that I should maybe phone on Friday to check on the process. This morning I phone and absolutely no-one knows what I'm talking about. Nothing is in process, now I am being told that "if it is put in process now it will take a very long time".
When I first opened this contract I had similar grief from MTN where it took TWO WEEKS to activate the sim card and I was shunted around between departments until eventually I had to contact someone in their head office just to get it done. I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt after that experience, but now I see I should just rather cancel the contract.
