3 Weeks and counting to start new contract

I recently applied for a new contract with Autopage, the initial credit check took a week to complete after which I requested the number be ported to an existing number. This process took another week to complete. I requested that BIS be activated on the contract and I was assured it will only take 5 min to activate BIS on the contract. It is now day 5 and BIS has not been activated and the normal data package that comes with the contract is also not working. (Contract data 1GB, when we got it there was only 75MB left on the contract)

When trying to load data or airtime an error is received that the number does not exist.

One can only hope that everything will be done by the end of this week, or maybe it's standard to wait a month for a new cell phone and contract.
