I went to MTN to get a Tablet on contract since I already have an existing account. The contract was declined because according to MTN's systems, my company doesn't exist, even though I have 3 cellphone accounts that are currently active with them.

As always they just folded their arms and said they couldn't help. I went to Vodacom in Clearwater Mall and explained the situation to them and a guy named Ally Mabasa helped me.

A day or 2 later he phoned me and told me that that contract has been declined but for a completely different reason that MTN gave me. It was a problem on ITC's side (big surprise). They didn't clear a payment that I had made over a year ago. Ally then spent the next 2 days fighting with ITC and sending who knows how many copies of my latest Credit Report to show that everything is fine.

Last week I got the Tablet and everything was good to go. I would recommend going to the Vodacom shop in Clearwater to apply for contracts, especially if you can get Ally to help you. Another person there that was very helpful, Andre, also has my highest recommendation, as he assisted Ally in sorting out the mess at ITC.
