Mtn
Handed Over to norton Lambrianos attorneys

Hello Peter,

I have a cellphone contract with MTN, it was a two year contract which is due to expire this coming february. i was not working for some time and at that time i was not able to pay for my contract as per our agreement with MTN. they handed me over to norton attorneys which i then made an arrangement to pay my arrears in monthly installments untill they reconect my account. This January i asked norton if they can debit the whole amount of the arrears and re-connect my account so i can continue with the normal installments and serve a notice to end the contact, I was informed its to late to reconnect and i will have to pay the money for the whole 24 months. I then read the contract to see if i can find that clause which says you cannot reconect 3 months prior contract end date, but thats what Gasta Khumalo from norton attorneys. I personally think the lawyers i taking advantage over me. it means i would have paid the contract for 2 times for and amount of R10-800.00 just for a blackberry curve. It is very unfair and i will try and exhaust every means at my dispasal to make sure that this matter is solved amicably.

Regards,
Edga
