I done a telephonic application for a cell phone on 24/01/2014 which was approved. Reference number 15212420. I then called back 10 minutes later asking them to cancel the application as it was not the phone I wanted. I was told that it would be cancelled, however, Vodacom cannot confirm cancellation via email or sms. Called back later in the day, was told its not cancelled, I can visit a vodacom store to cancel. Went to a store on 25/01/14, was told that they are unable to do anything as they do not have access to the same systems??? So I call back today (27/01/14), was transferred to numerous, unhelpful consultants who clearly do not know their job! i was eventually transferred to the retentions helpdesk. The retentions consultant advised that they cannot pick up my ID number or reference number or application, so there is nothing for them to cancel. Call back to the call centre and they state the phone has been ordered. Please cancel this application IMMEDIATLEY!!!
