Hi I cancelled my contract in October 2013 I was told I have to give 30 days notice in December the contract was not cancelled I called in to the mtn call centre the lady told me I had to be transferred to the cancellation department but she could not get through to them she then told me she was gonna email them and they would contact me am still waiting. I called in this morning now I was told that my account is in arrears and my contact cannot be cancelled until it is up to date so this means I can't cancel the contract and would be charged for a contract I am not using as I was told to cut up the sim card. The lady at the customer service also told me I have to give another 30 days notice to cancel the contract. I feel like MTN is its loyal customers.
