Incorrectly Advised of Contract Renewal

I received a sms (27870412244) on Wednesday 4th September @ 14h43, this was followed from missed phone call and voice message that I was eligible for an upgrade on my contract and to contact my nearest branch: L21 Sandton City. I followed up this morning, 6 September @ on provided number to confirm that I was eligible, and I again received confirmation.
I was in line for 45 minutes and going nowhere, I then called the 808 number and I was then informed that I was only due for an upgrade on the 1 October!
This was a complete waste of my time and for a very DISAPPOINTING response.
It is no wonder that MTN has the reputation and the customer losses that they have.
I want my new and upgraded phone by 16h00 today or I will be moving to one of the other networks in SA.
MTN has my contact details should they wish to respond...
