I am still waiting for our telkom line to be sorted out. It has been 7 days now and nothing. A man named Richard Higgs phoned me on Friday to arrange a Telkom technician to come to my house on Saturday. I told him I had a 12pm appointment so would have to be first thing. Apparantly first thing for Telkom is 11am. Suppose it was just a miracle that they pitched! The technician left my house at around 11:30am and said he would be back. I reminded him on numerous occasions of my 12pm appointment and then asked for him to return at 3pm when I would be back. When I phoned Telkom 10210 at 3:10pm they said that a Telkom technician would be there shortly. Needless to say, we are still waiting. Pathetic! All that Telkom seems to ever respond is that a technician has been dispatched or that my call has been escalated. If this is escalated what are the norms?? I presume we will still be charged normal line rental for this month as well? What now?
