When I saw a Telkom truck drive past the house on Thu I knew immediately that I would lose my landline and ADSL line. It happens every month end when Telkom process requests for new lines. I didn't expect it to happen mid-month. Telkom sent me an SMS to say that a technician has been assigned. 6 hours later I phoned Telkom. After an hour on my cellphone, I am am told that Telkom have not yet assiged a technician. Does Telkom know what Telkom are doing? Telkom staff are great but something is not working. Perhaps management need to start managing?
