There was an issue with the firmware on the netgear branded modems from telkom, I had returned it only to have same issue again, upon my second complaint a consultant phoned me from telkom cape town and helped me with the problem.
He sent me links to a stable software/firmware version and told me how to update it,
He then replied to numerous questions I had via email instantly.
and he even checked up if all was in order some time later.
