MTN is the worst network operator in SA. I have been a contract customer since 2001 and right now I feel like a spouse in an abusive relationship but continues to stay with the abusive spouse for many years. I consistently get very bad service but I have been tolerating it for many years.

I upgraded my data line early last week and did a sim swop same day. The sim card didn't work until the next afternoon, after 2 calls to the call centre and a walk in at the MTN shop. I switched the iPad off for a couple of days. Sunday morning I tried to use it and was horrified to learn that I'm out of data. Obviously this was not true, but I still bought another 1GB. Now 32 hours later it still doesn't work.

On Sunday morning I spoke to Nomathamsanqa Maswewu (Ref. 00486928) without any help. In the afternoon I spoke to another lady but unfortunately I was not able to take the details. This evening I spoke to Itumeleng Rakwena (Ref. 100531090) still without any joy.

If this thing doesn't work by noon tomorrow then I'm taking it back and canceling the contract. It's time to serve divorce papers on an abusive spouse. I have tolerated it for far too long.
