I had recently upgraded my cellular contract with Autopage via the main office in Jhb. i was looking for a laptop package which includes internet access that they had on offer. the reason for the laptop was for internet access.confirming my requirements, i received the content on 21/12/12.The HP laptop is windows 8 and the modem is windows 7? With my limited technical knowledge i assumed that i will have a working device suited for my needs. so i manage to get office loaded & subsequently tried to gain internet access only find out that the device is not compatible. i have raised this with Suzan [retention consultant] only to have her tell me if i am not happy then i should return the contents [according to her managers response]. i was not happy with this as my sole reason was to have internet access on my personal laptop. she then asked me to take it to my nearest autopage branch which i did & they could not assist as the devices are incompatible. i have now informed her & she once again is ever ready to have the package collected frm me.it is shocking that they are duping customers into this attractive deal that is useless refusing to change the modem to 8
