MTN's lack of communication / service

On 30 Dec 13, I took my mom's phone to MTN head office for repair - I was redirected from one building to another. Eventually the phone were booked in for repair. I was informed that they will contact me in 2 days time with a quote on how much the repair will be. Last week I phoned to be informed that they send the phone back - not repaired to the department I booked it in. The reason: when switching on the phone it stated 'Vodacom' and not 'MTN'. Today, 25 Jan 14, I fetched the phone - on the box the phone was returned to the department on 2 Jan 14... I didn't receive ANY communication regarding this, no one phoned me just to say 'We can't fix it because...' In this time I bought a phone on contract with Cell C - with NO problems at all. MTN, I am utterly disgusted in the way this whole situation was handled...
