Repair centre refused to repair my contract phone

My phone gave me problems within the warranty period (Nov 13) I took it back to the east gate branch where I bought it. It was booked in, repair centre sent a SMS saying it was received and repairs would begin. A few days later got SMS saying it had been returned to eastgate. When I phoned I was told that it hadn't been repaired because there was no proof of purchase, I had lost my invoice but since it was contract phone it shouldn't have been an issue because the upgrade date on the system was proof enough. The eastgate branch had been sold to another owner and so all old invoices had been deleted from their systems. All internal problems which have nothing to do with me, so two months later in Jan 14 I am still without a cellphone, only this week did I receive a SMS saying that my phone has been booked for repairs (for real this time I hope). It may take another 6-8 weeks for the phone to get back. In which case I will have paid R434 for over 3 months and only getting R200 airtime. I have been so put off by this whole experience that Autopage risk losing a loyal customer of 10 years.
