Honeymoon Bill Shock

While on honeymoon in Mauritius in December I logged onto the Long Beach Hotel wifi network to send whatsapp and BBM messages to my family and to browse through face book on occasion, At no time could I make calls or send SMS's both of which would have required that I be on EMTEL Mauritius network as a roaming subscriber. I never got a single data roaming alert message about my data bill being extraordinarily high from Autopage until I got to the airport where there was an EMTEL signal. I immediately SMS'd Autopage to query this with EMTEL = got no reply, As soon as I got home I sent a written email query -- no reply. a few days later this HUGE debit order of R16 321.22 came off my account and I sent another written query = again, no reply. On 20th January I called them after being in IVR jail for 10 minutes and still there is no resolution to my query = I was told to again write to them to tell them I was on wifi. This is a huge amount of money that I have had to pay out and after being a customer of Auto Page's for 15 years I expected a better and more reactive response. I need this money back and I want some answers. I wasn't able to load this report for 5 days
