Telkom
No ADSL from 8 December 2013

On the 8 Dec 2013 my ADSL stopped working as my modem was unable to connect to the exchange. I contacted Telkom and they stated the problem with them regarding the exchange. On 14 Dec I received a SMS stating the problem was fixed, which it was not.

I reported the problem again and on 19 Dec and received a notification on 23 Dec that the problem was resolved. This was not the case again!!!

I went on holiday and when I got back on 9 Jan 2014 I logged a call for the third time. After a further three follow up calls to Telkom they put the fault through an escalation process which has a 48 hour turnaround time!!! I finally received a sms on 21 Jan from them stating the fault is in the hands of a technician.

This morning (24 Jan) I received a SMS again stating that the problem was resolved. Yet again this is a as the I still don't have ADSL. I had to log a call for the forth time with Telkom to relook at the problem.

I am disgusted at the fact that I received 3 notifications stating that my problem was resolved which was not and furthermore, I received bills from Telkom for Dec and Jan stating I must pay for a ADSL service I have not had in over a month and a half
