Cell C in breach of Consumer Protection rights

Cell C has a partnership with MIRA where client details are provided for anti CPA marketing campaigns. According to MIRA, I signed up for something called 'why play'. The proof I was sent as to my sign up was completely against CPA rules. It's can hardly be understood as a transaction and is specifically vague to fool clients. Cell C allows MIRA access to your details and then deducts money from your account when they say you have signed up. According to Cell C Call Centre Agents, hundreds of Cell C clients are being targeted and hence they field calls to allow clients to 'unsubscribe'. This practice is completely unacceptable. To click on a link which says free sms Movie and then get charged R7 a day cannot be legal. Cell C is party to this unscrupulous forcefed marketing, which preys on unwitting Cell C clients. I have tried to contact MIRA and WASPA as well and it seems as if the whole industry is okay with breaking CPA rules.
