In late November I found out that my cell phone contract was upgraded, without my knowledge and consent. I called the head office and requested to be forwarded to the risk department and instead I was forwarded to the legal admin division. I spoke to a gentleman by the name of Nhlakanipho, who advised me to email an affidavit along with my ID copy. I emailed them on the 2nd of December 2013 and received no reply. In late December I visited a Nashua branch in Maponya Mall where the consultant made a call to Nhlakanipho who promised to make a follow up and I still haven't heard from him. I called the legal admin division on the 17th of January and spoke to a gentleman by the name of Sydney who just wasn't interested in helping me and told me that I needed to speak to Nhlakanipho. Till today Nhlakanipho has never returned my calls. In December my account was debited R693-00 instead of R354-00. I found out that the upgrade was done in Fourways by a consultant named Thapelo, without the copy of my ID and without verifying my signature but still my account is debited. I want out.
