I contacted vodacom to upgrade my contract. I was placed under debt review when my doctors bills became too much for me. I missed a payment and i missed a payment prev. which my mom helped me with. Now i can upgrade my contract and i keep getting told sorry your profile will not be changed from a P400 to a higher profile.
The woman that spoke to me, i cant remember her name said that if i wanted to get a higher contract which i am and can still afford i must pay R1800 for the handset i want. then my credit worthiness will be improved with vodacom. What nonsense is this, if I'm under debt review where will i find R 1800.00 lying around. Utter nonsense.
I feel like leaving vodacom and advise my entire family to do so too. seeing as this is what you get when you are forced to pay each month yet you cant upgrade. my phone is 2 years old already...
