Good day, I hope u'll assist me as always. I have a complaint with MTN regarding airtime and data that vanished on my account without any reason. I am always efficient with my usage and on the 2nd January 2014 my airtime & data of over 200 units just vanished and when I phoned the call centre I spoke to Phindile to inform her and she also could see that something was amiss. She then asked her supervisor for advise (who confirmed that airtime is missing) and was told to escalate the query to Network support section for further investigation and i was told that it will take 5 to 8 days to resolve and someone will contact me. No one called until I called on Monday 13 Jan 2014 and spoke to Eunice who told me that there was nothing wrong with the usage; however I know for sure that I did not use the airtime or data as much. I was extremely unhappy and wanted to cancel the contract which was also extremely difficult to do; I after I had early enquired with Telkom mobile that if it is possible for them to buy me out of the MTN contract and they said it's possible only if i speak to MTN about it. Their service big time after being such a loyal customer for over a period of 5yrs. Than
