I saw on my account for end of dec 2013 a debit order for vodacom. I went to my bank and they reversed the payment, went to vodacom 4 u in cent mall, the assistant manager told me that i alledgedly upgraded my contract for a laptop. Which i didn't. It was done on line. I stopped my contract last january 2013 just to find out they still deducted money from my account, they never stopped the contract. I was under the impression it was. How can someone just upgrade on my name without proof of residency or id? I remarried, my id was changed and haven't been living at the address they gave. Im very disappointed that something like this can still happen. Vodacom is very unprofessional and i will never use them again. What happened to the new consumer law that must protect consumers. Even nedbank, how can they just allow a debit order to go through on all that old info. Without contacting me? Pls help me with this one. Im going to report it with Beeld as well
