Purchased 5gig data for R399.00 - not working

Went into Vodacom on 22/01/2014 and purchased 5gig data for R399.00. I was informed that I had buy a sim card from Ackermans and come back for them to set it up on my wi-fi router as they had no stock. I phoned their data support this morning as my pc would not connect to the data. Went back into Vodacom after 11 this morning with my pc to try and sort out the problem. I had by then purchased cell C data as a spare data - which worked immediately. After about an hour with them stating that my pc was faulty, then it was my modem, then it was the sim card purchased. I demanded that they return my R399.00 as per the consumers law - returns within 7 days - they refused to do that. They then wanted to fiddle around with my wi-fi unit which I refused as I only purchased this in October 2013 and asked them if they changed setting and my cell c data that I just had paid R598.00 stopped working would they refund it. I requested them to test the sim card with one of their wi-fi routers and they had none in stock. I walked out in frustration at approx 12:30 I now have a 5gig data sim card that I cannot use and they refuse to refund me.
