Upgrade contract 24.5.2012 to 2gig day 2gig night. Sales consultant (Richard Harker) phoned the call centre to register a R100 limit on the contract. On 1 June 2012 I paid my R150 Adminfee and Richard phoned to register the limit. I also received faulty USB modem. Took it back in June 2012. Was replaced but still did not had a good signal. July I received a bill for R700. Beginning of August Vodaphone called me with a bill of R8433.28 (12 gig) that was acumalated in four hours. It is impossible to do that with a modem speed of 256kb. Vodaphone then send. Out a technitian to check the signal and my computer. They then said that there are viruses on my computer that used so much data and that we downloaded on YouTube. Even if you download YouTube you can't download 12gig. The biggest files on YouTube are 25mb. Even if there was a virus on as claimed, still then it is impossible to use so much data, not even on a DSL 4 Meg line from Telkom. I refused to pay the bill and it now have a impact on my credit record.
