False Advertising and Incompetent Tech Support

Before buying a 2 1 Gig datae bundle the first time, I checked and both my work address in Meerensee RIchards Bay and my home address in Empangeni are shown as being full 3G connection. Yet I repeatedly cannot get 8Ta connection at home or work and end up on Roaming which the 2 1 package does not allow. I have also repeatedly called the call centre to try and get my 10 Gigs free Wifi activated and working. I have been told various things from the data only works on a computer and not a cellphone, to then being told that despite the sms and marketing telling me I get 10 free gigs I actually dont. Then I was also told that I must go ask John Dorry in Richards Bay (the listed telkom hotspot) to give me their wifi log in details.

I have repeatedly been emailed spreadsheets to fill in asking my modem serial number, when the problem began, etc. This is totally irrelavent... this happens ON EVERY CELLPHONE OR DEVICE I PUT THE SIM INTO. It has gotten to the point where even the 8Ta R/Bay staff say that 8Ta service is and the callcentre dont know what they are doing, I must rather go buy Vodacom and even though it costs more at least I can use it anywhere!!!
