CANCELLATION ISSUES - Dodge Tactics

Cancelling my ADSL because of a move. I submitted a cancellation form via email on the 08/01/2013, I received a case # and I waited for a confirmation. No confirmation was received and a new debit came through on the 1st Feb, I called to find out if this would be the last debit according to the 30 days notice. They informed me that they had received the email on the 8th but couldn't open the file (.jpeg format) and said they had emailed to say so. I received no such email/call that there were problems opening the file. They then said as long as I email the form through before 12am that night that my 30 days notice would still be from 8th January. I emailed multiple formats of the file jpeg, pdf etc at 14.23 01/02/13 both cancellations@ and info@ and asked to please be contacted if there were still file issues. No communication so I called through today and was informed that the file still isn't opening and that I now need to fax my previous emails and the cancellation form and MAYBE the 30 days notice will still apply. These are delay tactics, the communication level is unacceptable and I will not pay for another month because of unprofessionalism on MWEB's part.
