Dropping Calls

I recently upgraded my contract with an ipad mini. Today I would like to check my data balances. Previously I was told to SMS balance to 31050, which worked fine. However, you guys do not allow for messages to work on an ipad so I'm stuck. Downloaded the app which shows I have zero bundle left. I called 111 thrice before I got service. First time spoke with Richard, who pretended he couldn't hear me and dropped the line. Next time in the IVR it dropped the line. Then I spoke with Atolile. He aptly gave me my balance but I do not want to have to call three times wait 20min before I know my balance. I am sure you can listen to the call to find out the interaction. When I told him the website does not work he just kept quiet for a few minutes and also dropped the line. I would like a convenient way of checking my data balances from my ipad or is vodacom that far behind technology it can't provide a decent service to its clients so it instructs their agents to drop the calls when the query is too tough.
