Bad payment history on credit profile

I will be cancelling all 4 my contracts with vodacom due to this: Last year 26 September 2013 i was due for a upgrade which i done telephonically, i was told by the consultant that the fee would be debited from my account when i asked how i must pay it. when debit order date came that amount was not debited from my account. i was harassed with messages saying i was in arrears and i must call them to make payment arrangements. when i called them they said that it is because all invoices had been sent through the 25th so that is due to be debited the following month. I asked them if it will reflect negatively on my credit history as this is a fault on their side & not mine as there was enough funds for the debt to go off & they did not put the debit order through the accounts consultant assured me that it would not, as it was a fault on their end. today i pull my credit report & guess what, my report shows negatively that i am in arrears for 30days. This is pathetic, i will no longer support vodacom & i will tell everyone i know not to support them due to this!!! just because you are a massive corporate company does not mean u can do what u like with peoples lives (credit history).
