I was contacted by Cell C sales around Early November 2013 regarding a Phone and Data bundle for R138.
Thinking this was a good deal I proceeded. However after receiving the phone on the 13th Nov (Sony E-Dual with 2 SIM cards) I decided to cancel contract on the 19th Nov - withing 7 days as described in contract, as phone was ridiculously slow and after calls from Cell C to acquire my financial details I learned that the Price per Month as increased to around R170 - This is too expensive for this type of phone and having to pay 2 Debit orders for this one contract is ridiculous.
I have contacted Cell C on numerous occasions over November, December 2013 to confirm cancellation of the phone to no reply. Debit order went off end December, Despite the Fact that Cell C has had possession of the phone for over a month.
Cell C insist that the phone is in "retainer" and is being processed. I have had to supply courier collection note more than once to assist Cell C in finding the phone. Every Phone call I make to Cell C I get different information supplied, nothing makes sense. Operator have promised to call back and never have.
Never doing business with Cell C ever again!
