After months of arguing about bad reception in my area I finally got Cell C to allow me to cancel my contract. The letter of cancellation was signed and sent on the 13th of November 2013. On the same day I handed back the iPhone 4s with all accessories and the contract's sim card.
At the end of November 2013 I was billed for the entire month of November. On the first of January 2014 I was also billed for the entire month of December! How can I be billed for something when I do not have the cellphone or sim card anymore?!
When I phoned Bayside Cell C I was told that the call centre phoned me last week to find out if I want to keep the phone. Apparently I told them (according to their system) that I was still thinking whether I would like to keep the phone. Why would I say I am thinking of keeping the phone during the last week of December 2013 when I handed them the phone on 13 November 2013?!
I want my money back and I want to know if Cell C is incompetent or just outright?!
Enough is enough Cell C, I had the frustration of using your terrible network for months, I am not going to spend months trying to get you to stop ripping me off financially.
