Purchase of ford ecosport 1.0 model 2022 suv at motus ford paardeneiland cape town on the 3rd february 2023. The deal were cash for the above new vehicle. On 28 August 2023 i stuck on route with mentioned vehicle due to it loose power. The dealership and road assistance company were contact whereby the towtruck upload the vehicle after two days at adress 217 Kristal Street Loeriesfontein Northern Cape 8185. Vehicle were taken to Brandfort ford in Vredendal. Dianostic test were done and the results indicates that were a faulty sensor which were replaced. Vehicle declared serviceable and technicians certify that no similar fault for future.
Again on the 17 October 2023 the same pattern occur and the same dianostic as well as the same fault. The vehicle were inspect and repair at Motus Ford Paardeneiland Cape Town. The dealership again confirmed that problem been rectify and vehicle certify serviceable.
For the 3rd time in less then a month the problem repeat itself but this time even worse the vehicle also overheat too. The dealership only assist after two days with a loan vehicle which implies i had to stay over in guest house which i had to pay.
When it happens the first time i inform the dealer principle as well as FordSA that this is manufactured problem and requires that vehicle to be recalled and replaced with a new vehicle due to vehicle is still new.
Management denied it but say they will fix it. My question to them were what about after the warrenty lapse? No response from the dealership.
On the 4 December 2023 i return the vehicle, set i
of spare keys and a copy of registration certificate to dealership paardeneiland cape town due to i don't want the vehicle anymore because it is a fatal accident to happen. This vehicle put me and my family at risk. It is humanilated and put me and family through pain and loose money on expense that were not cause by me but the ignorences of the dealership as well as FordSA. On top of all the vehicle were purchase cash.
Theo outcome of this are that the dealership refund me in full and also compensate for all expences develop from the problem since the beginning.
