I went to MTN to cancel my one cellphone contract, as I would like to go over to prepaid. For me to retain my number I had to complete some documents at the Woodlands MTN branch. It took them 6 WEEKS and 2 more visits from myself to stop the contract.
When they eventually stopped the contract they CANCELLED THE NUMBER. Took it off their systems ie. The number doesnt exist anymore!!!
Again I went to Woodlands ranting and raving because it was my 3rd visit to them!!! The guy yelled at me that I'm a and he doesnt want to speak to me!!
I dont care if you are pink, black or blue - JUST DO YOUR JOB!!!
Eventually the manager storms out (guy of about 23) and tells me (who's already a grandmother) to not speak to HIS staff like that.
Anyway, 2 MORE visits and promises to have someone contact me to sort this out... and quess what... IM STILL WAITING!!!
Plus the number is STILL cancelled!!!
And then they wonder why I want to cancel my contract after 13 YEARS of being a loyal customer.
PATHETIC SERVICE!!!
