Terrible Response Time / Client Service

Cancelled my 8ta contract early February (followed all procedures correctly), my number was supposed to be reflected as prepaid customer as of the 1 of March 2013 (As per 8ta rules and guidelines). It is now the 12th of March 2013 and my number has still not been reflected as prepaid so that I can port my number to my new network (Which I have a contract with currently but cannot use my free minutes with my old number from 8ta as 8ta are not making my number available for porting. This is after spending at least an hr a day since March 1 (no exaggeration with various consultants, team leaders and managers at various branches) I don't get call backs from 90% of the multiple consultants and even managers, when I'm told that I will get a callback. They cannot give me a time when my number will be available for porting nor will they let me speak to a manager who can expediate my query. I'm just told to sit tight and wait patiently (Its been 2 weeks already) They also debited my account with a months contract fee a month after I cancelled the contract. This is the worst customer care service I have ever experienced and let this be a warning to anyone who want to join 8ta's net
