What was suppose to be a complaint has turned into a compliment. Phoned Telkom internet support this morning due to issues I am having with me internet line. Was on hold for 20 minutes and got through to a lady (did not get the name). She was not very helpful and kept on arguing with me that the issue was on my side. She put me through to Itu who was great in assisting me. He actually listened to what I had to say and clarified some questions I had around this particular issue. He said they would investigate as what i was experiencing was not normal or the standard. Gave me a reference number to follow up on should it not be resolved and also explained to me what will happen from here on in. This leaves me in a great position as I know who I spoke to, how long in theory it might take to resolve, when I should follow up ad what reference number to use. Well done Itu - you have kept a long standing Telkom client very happy - as for the first lady... well can't say much about that.
