Cell C bill three times that of Vodacome

To Whom it may Concern:

I changed over to Cell C through Discovery Vitality to save money, from Vodacom, a decision I really regret.

Since I joined Cell C in July 2012, I've been paying an average of R4000 per month as opposed to R800 a month with Vodacom.

I have been phoning Cell C every month to ask what is going on, as my behaviour in data usage has not changed since joining Cell C.

I only found out yesterday, that there is a concept called 'top up'. I never knew such a thing existed. I am going into very high billing rates when I run out of data.

Why hasn't anyone from Cell C explained the option to me? I've been calling every month to find out how I can bring down my phone bill and no one has explained or suggested going over to 'top up'.

I'm furious and heavily out of pocket as a result. Over the last six months of being with Cell C, I've incurred an unplanned, additional cost of R18, 000 per month. It has cost me R18, 000 to move over to Cell C.

Can someone please assist? I am horrified to say the least.
