I recently went to mtn to open a cell contract but was declined. however the consultant said that there is already a pending application for a data bundle account in my name. i never had opened any account with mtn ever and so he asked if he should cancel the application, to which i said yes. last month, mtn deducted R167.74 from my account, so i called mtn and queried and they said they have authorised a reverse charge and i need to go to the bank and request for it. i did that but later that day i received a message saying it was unsuccessful. now again this month the same thing has happened. mtn deducting money from my account! the reason cited on my bank statement is "No Auth to Debit/Credit" they owe me my R335.48 and if i do not receive it, i will be forced to take legal action. i should not expect me to go to the bank. they must put it directly back in to my account
