FNB will not re-imburse money that was from my account.
I queried this with 2 different complaints departments but they wont listen:(
There was some activity with my bank account- 2 unauthorized withdrawals which happened on the same day- as per the bank and my bank statement. These withdrawals exceed my daily limit and no sms notification was sent. Also an unauthorized loan was taken out.
I reported this in the beginning of Feb.
And now end of March, they will not re-imburse me.
FNB will not re-imburse me because the acording to them, the activity is not the typical activity of and i took too long to report it.
How am i supposed to report an unauthorized withdrawal if i don't even know its now its happening :(
And now, all of a sudden, the bank says the transactions occurred on 2 different days, which now justifies for them how the withdrawals were able to exceed my limit - because the transactions have now suddenly happened on 2 different days :( BUt my bank statement says something different.
This is really upsetting, because its the banks word against mine.
I have now complained to the Ombudsman, but am not very hopeful.
