I am at my wits end

On December 12th my contract was upgraded by MTN. I submitted an affidavit and copy of my ID on December 19th so a case of could be opened.
Since then I have spoken to over 8 consultants who have all told me a different story as to how long the investigation would take: 48 hours, 2 weeks, 10 working days.
It has now been 19 days. Yesterday I phoned to enquire on the progress. I was told to expect a call by the close of business. Nothing!
Today I phone and I get told the investigator is still waiting for the relevant documents to be sent to him from the store where this so called upgrade took place so the investigation can start!!! How does it take 19 days for documents to be emailed or faxed in a investigation?
To top it off, this consultant got irritable with me, yelled at me then transferred me somewhere else when I voiced my frustration.

MTN, you are without a doubt the worst of all the networks in South Africa, and I have used all of them. I am beyond disappointed in you. I want to port to a different network but I can't even do that because of your "investigation" that has hasn't started after 19 days!!

Unbelievable.
