On 31Dec2013 a unauthorized debit of R1067.98 went out from my account, by MTN SP. I DO NOT have any MTN accounts. on 2jan I followed it up with MTN. according to MTN, two contracts have been made out on my name. How is this possible with out my consent? the unhelpful consultant (Mr Tabego-MTN Rivonia Rd) informed me that it is a case and that i should make out an affidavit stating that i didnt authorize such a deal.i then went to a police station, made the affidavit and return to the store fro them to submit the affidavit to the department, in order for them to deactivate the contracts. 6jan: the contracts are still active and i am getting no feedback from Tabego regarding the status of the deactivation of these accounts, even tho they have promised to call me. i have no clue whether the department has even received anything from Tabego and Norman Malope, as they were unable to verify this for me with any formal documentation.
MTN were not able to answer as to where and HOW these contract were approved and the deal being processed.
the stress of contract, lack of help from MTN and delay in processing my request to deactivate d account is horrendous!!!
