In July 2011, I went to a vodashop in festival mall, kempton park to get a cellphone contract, to my suprise the lady told me i already have a cellphone contract with vodacom and not 1 but 2 and I have not made any payments ever since I took these 2 phone contracts and they had denied me another application in May that year for a 3rd phone. I told the lady that I have never owned a cellphone contract with vodacom, Im suprised that their records show I have one. The lady advised me to go get an affidavit and call their fradu department of which I did the following day, I called the call centre and was transfered from one person to another until i got to the department and lady promised to get on my case as soon as possible, i faxed her the affidavit and my copy of id as she requested. She then called me a couple of days later to say the phones were delivered in florida of which i had no idea where that place is as i was still fairly new in joburg, I told her i did not sign for any contract how come they opened a contract under my name without my signanture. I just found out my name is on the credit buraues through vodacom who never reverted back on the case...
