Bad porting experience

Popped in at the Vangate branch on 31st Dec 2013 (wot a day to port lol) to port my cell c number to telkom mobile.
Purchased a sim card and was instructed by shop assistant (who distracted by co-worker during the sale/assistance) that the port would take 72 hours. Tells me that I will receive a port-vaildation SMS and he will phone to instruct when to insert new SIM.
I go in on 4th Jan 2014 to check why no SMS has arrived and get helped by another shop assistant to check the status of my port... according to the system (a word they use loosely) the port WAS NOT DONE :(
She fills out new paperwork and writes down number of telkom SIM (which previous assistant didnt) and informs that I should receive an SMS to validate port. Unfortunately, that occurs after two hours. So return on 5th Jan, where the original shop guys says that the port was hanging due to Port Dept not being available on weekends and tells me to wait till Monday 6th Jan... still waiting!!! no reply, feedback... nothing!!!
Worst port I've ever done... sorry, worst port that must still happen :(
