Vodacom released number (0726066844) from contract to prepaid on 15/3/13 and MTN sent a message as confirmation that the port request has been approved on 19/3/13 and is ready for Port activation. Since then daily visits to the Port Alfred MTN branch were fruitless and I was informed that a call was logged and it could happen any time. Next day, the same story. The explanation to me was that it is the system and nothing could be done. No answer on the MTN porting number: 0831237667 (given by MNT Port Alfred) either. SORRY - not good enough since I was informed it would not take longer than a week. Could I please get assistance to speed up the process??
