On 27/12/2013 I applied for a new data contract. The sales person assured me that it will be active within 48 hours. After 48 hours I went back to the store to find that they have now changed ownership, that the old owners should not have sold me a contract and that the new manager cannot help me. It is, apparently, not the new manager's problem.
However, somewhere in the dark bowls of MTN, is a contract and debit order authorisation that has my name and signature on it and no one knows where it is. The contract (data) has not been activated and I will have to wait until end Jan 2014 to see if money is being taken off.
The lady at the MTN store in the Eikestad Mall was not at all interested in helping me trying to sort this out. the only advice was to stand in the queue again and fill in another contract.
To my knowledge, I have a contract with MTN and not the store.
