I purchased a 2 Gig Data bundle for my I-Pad on the 14th December 2012. I had used 200meg of it. At the end of January. They took all my data and said my airtime has expired. It does not last for two months like other networks (IE: MTN) They cancelled the airtime at the end of the following month. Just as well I never purchased my data bundle towards the end of December. I would really have been ripped off.
To put things into perspective, I also use a 3G modem for my laptop with an MTN Sim card, and the airtime lasts for two months from date of purchase.
I contacted Vodacom customer care, and they said that they don't operate in the same way that MTN does.
So Vodacom. If this is the service you provide, well, you can be sure that I will be taking my business elsewhere. including all my Business Cell contracts.
Its just another form of. They could just as well be standing on a street corner with a gun in their hand.
No different.
