Activating account without permission

On 23 december i received a sms from vodacom stating that a smartL contract has been avtivated on my name. Firstly i did not apply for a new contract as i just upgraded my current contract. I phoned customer services and the consultant confirmed that such has been activated, i told her i did not apply for this and i was informed that she will log this on the system and they will investigate the matter and i will receive feedback in 3 working days. And that i will receive a email with a reference number. Now a week later, i still have not received my reference nr or any feedback. Worst of all money was subtracted from my bank account for this contract today and i did not even sign anything giving permission to do so. I went online to check my invoices and even as i logged an enquiry on the 23rd the invoice was still done a day later on the 24th so obviously no investigation was done on the matter! I did not receive a phone or sign any contract, i can't understand how they can just activate things like this without a signature, or any paperwork!!
