Vodacom
Disclosure of Private Information

At the mentioned time it was necessary for me to block a SIM card, for a reason I will withhold, that I have on a contract. When I called Vodacom a lady (Identity unknown) asked me for personal information that would be used to identify me. After the identification process was complete the number that I needed to block was called without my acknowledgement or consent.

The cellphone and SIM card associated with this contract was in the possession of my ex-husband who did not need to know. He was informed of my action that should have been kept private. My identity was disclosed to the person in possession of this cellphone number.

I have refrained from making contact of any kind due to the legal proceedings that this violation might affect.

I am appalled and I will almost definitely change to another service provider as soon as I can cancel my ongoing contracts.

NB. The provided cellphone number is not the cellphone number that was mentioned above. Any correspondence is to be done through email and only if I am unreachable this way, then my cellphone.
