MTN data over-billing query

Between 20 and 24 December 2012, I was on MTN international roaming. On 24 January, I received a monthly invoice of about R7450. R5335.91 was for roamed data calls. I contacted MTN to query the bill. Ishie Mahomed (MTN Data Specialist) emailed me a detailed reconciliation showing 7436 website visits charged R5987.57 over 5 days with consistent day and night times. In the words of Ishie, most of the charges came from "downloading/streaming video from Samsung video hub". I tried to contact Ishie by telephone on the number indicated as his contact number on his email (27119123000) on numerous occasions without any success. I was eventually told by one of the operators that Ishie is the only person who deals with data queries but is not reachable on the phone. The person sent an electronic message to Ishie to call me back. I then emailed Ishie back to explain that I have never downloaded any videos and that I have not done any video streaming on my cell-phone during the said time. I also indicated in that email that there is no way I could have visited so many of those websites day and night over such a short period of time. I never got any feedback afterwards.
