Over the Christmas holidays, I decided to use the points on my work MTN cellphone contract, to purchase, 24hour uncapped data, 1700points, I received a sms stating I have purchased the data bundle and I started using the internet: skyping, facebook, surfing and obtaining learning materials for a project I have planned for next year (to expose underprivledged kids to technology, specifically using Kano OS to teach programming and also resources like lego mindstorms) Today I returned to work to receive a very nice gift from MTN, an unpaid bill of R42 226.73. I am pleading to the powers that be to consider my case, I honestly was acting under the knowledge that I was using an uncapped data bundle, please can we find an amicable solution!
