I sent my Blackberry 9790 to the MTN repair centre in Boksburg. Upon giving in the cellphone, the lady booking it in stated the good condition the phone was in. My Blackberry was switching on and off. The phone which switched off when I required it the most. I received a sms stating that as the lock key button is PHYSICALLY damaged, it would cost R3608 to repair. However, when purchased the phone, I purchased a screen guard and a cover for the phone. Therefore I could not understand how the lock key was damaged. I called the MTN repair centre to ask about the problem, they were rude and could not explain the problem clearly. Afterwhich, I went to pick the phone up, as I was in a rush I simply picked the phone from the centre and left. When I opened the box, I relaised that my phone was not put back together correctly. The blackberry button and keypad buttons are not working. When I checked the lock key its a physical damage, and I am not sure as to when this could have happened, as if I have always had a cover for the phone. The phone however locks and I am not sure what the reason for them to charge R3608?? But I will be have to book in the phone in again to have the phone put together properly!!!
